Because I've been MIA from my blog...

I'll post a photo of  young Ratchet who played the part of a hippie in his fifth grade program last Thursday.  That will at least change the scene until I manage to get back to business in my land.   "To everything... turn turn turn.  There is a season...turn turn turn." I should have had him turn turn turn his hand around so that he's not flipping people off British-style.  Sorry about that Lynn and Dive.  I promise you he comes in peace.

Liv was a hippie for Halloween last year. I still can't believe that I am old enough that I have become a Halloween character.

what??!! He didn't get the part of Elvis???? He must not have paid close enough attention to your gi-rat-ing training session in the kitchen the morning of try-outs. Thats okay cuz he makes a great hipper.

What was the program? And why didn't I know that symbol meant "flipping off" in Britain?

Hahaa! Now you guys are making me laugh! Yes, Maria I remember when 80's clothes started being called retro and it kind of blew my mind as well. :D

Is that you Kimmer? I can't tell which Kim you are!!!!

VitiC has a blog now? Yay! :)

So many surprises.

Hi J and J!

I didn't know holding your hand in a backward peace sign meant that either or I'd have had him switch it Robyn. Now, it's funny because of the accidental rudeness.

Oops Kim, Kimmer, Kimmy I forgot to say that NO, in fact, he forgot to try out for a speaking part on that day(went to recess instead ;). And he did finally try out for the Elvis song but he said he got suddenly nervous and his voice came out really high instead of low and bluesy. I don't think he even attempted my dance moves either! 5th grade has changed his embarrassment quotient methinks. Baha

he he.....! Well it's certainly an offensive gesture in the UK but I'm not offended in the least as I know he's your gorgeous son and that it's not meant in that way. In England though he probably wouldn't get away with it. It must be turned around for the peace sign!

Cool outfit! You look fantastic! Really good..... x

HA HA HA! Thanks Lynn. We knew you would be able to clear things up. If we make it over there someday, we'll be sure not to bring this guesture! :D

Hey Shan, it's Captain Chaos, aka Savvie's oldest. Anywhat, I saw what you wrote on Sav's about yer eyeballs and I'm curious. Did you have Lasik? What up with the color shifts? I'm asking because I'm a four eyed wreck and photodog and have been considering the Lasik. When you get a sec let me know. Thanks.

Hee hee Shan & Ratchet! Turn, turn, turn those fingers around, around. Did he enjoy himself? He looks like he's not quite sure yet Shan.
I've been MIA myself over the past few days so am only just catching up. I fear I've turned into another Halloween character myself, an old crone!

Yes, I think he meant one finger less :-)

Have a nice time,
