A truly kinesthetic learner

I was just sitting at the dining table going over vocabulary homework with Ratchet, when I looked up from the paper and he's doing this.

I really have no idea how he sits in the classroom all day.  This kid is only semi still when he's building legos or playing video games.  He makes great grades and his teachers have no trouble with him, so who am I to question his methods?  Maybe I'll try this technique when I do my morning reading.  It might be good for the old sciatica.  And really what more would the neighbors want to see first thing on a Friday a.m.?  ;)

Ha--call me when you decide to try it; I'll be right over!
He's such a handsome feller, what with his tie and all. Does he always dress so smartly to go to school?

Oops, let me try that comment again...

Oh yeah, I meant to include that he was only dressed that way because it was "TIE up the Benchmark exams!" day or some silly phrase theme to get them all geared up to test levels above normal capacity next week. He loves to wear a tie, but he only has the one so that might be a little cartoon-like.

He ALWAYS wants to wear a suit to church and stuff too. I suppose I should support that with a wardrobe to back it up while he likes it. :)

He does do the business look well until he has to rip off his outer garments and web-sling across the city.

Hahaha!! So cute and funny! My sons are the same way, just bouncing all over while we do geography quizzes and whatnot. I figure, as long as they can listen and retain the information, more power to them! It's like PE and school all rolled into one! :-)

And he looks so pleased with himself. It really does look like a good stretch for the sciatica.

love the hair cut, too! Quiet sophisticated, young laddy. Don't you sort of do similar stuff when your doing mundane chores? I've often remarked that you stand FOREVER and chitty chat whilst making a cheese dip...or a cup of coffee...or a glass of water. heehee. just kidding ya. But you do stand a lot. You don't seem to be much of a sitter. I remember always saying 'sit down, shannon' when you popped over to chez sara's. aaah, good times.
